Day 1: ARRIVAL PORTO

Upon your arrival at Porto Airport, you will be met at the exit of the arrivals hall by an English-speaking driver who will take you to your hotel in the city. Check-in and if you feel tired after the journey, you can relax and make use of all available services at the hotel. But if you are anxious to explore this awesome city, stroll down its charming streets and get closer to its unique culture.

Day 2: PORTO: CITY TOUR

Begin the day with a tasty breakfast at your hotel and get ready for your half-day Porto tour, the Capital of the Northern Region of Portugal. Begin your journey in the heart of Porto’s Historic City Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the narrow, cobbled streets lined with colorful buildings, each telling a story of the city’s rich past. Marvel at the stunning architecture, from medieval to baroque, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this charming area. Next, make your way to the Porto Sé, the city’s cathedral. Day 3: PORTO

Wake up to your breakfast at the hotel and enjoy the full day at leisure in this delightful city. Head to the city center and, if you’re a shopping enthusiast, check out Santa Catarina street, a beautiful pedestrian area great for walking and perfect for shopping.

Day 4: PORTO – GUIMARAES – BRAGA – PORTO (140km – 2hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel get ready for a full day tour to Braga and Guimaraes. Start with a visit to the historic Guimaraes Castle, a symbol of Portugal’s birth. This medieval fortress, perched on a hill, offers a glimpse into the country’s early history. Next, explore the charming Guimaraes Centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through the well-preserved medieval streets, lined with traditional houses and quaint shops. The Plaza de Santiago and Largo da Oliveira are must-see spots, where you can soak in the historical ambience. The blend of Gothic, Baroque, and Romanesque architecture will transport you back in time. After exploring Guimaraes, head to Braga, one of Portugal’s oldest cities. Your first stop is the Braga Cathedral, a magnificent structure that showcases a mix of architectural styles, from Romanesque to Baroque. Continue your journey to the Bom Jesus Sanctuary, a pilgrimage site known for its stunning baroque staircase. The zigzagging stairway, adorned with statues and fountains, leads up to the church, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. End your tour with a visit to the Sameiro Sanctuary, another important pilgrimage site in Braga. Day 5: PORTO

Start the day with a tasty breakfast at the hotel and enjoy another day at leisure in this delightful city. Head back to Porto’s Ribeira District and enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the riverside restaurants. Pair your meal with a local wine, such as a refreshing Vinho Verde or Douro red.

Day 6: DEPARTURE PORTO

Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel and at the agreed time you will be picked up by the driver at the hotel reception and taken to the Airport.

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Portugal. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

The agency has the obligation to inform that it is recommended that the client take out insurance that includes, at least, issues such as repatriation,... which is basically inclusion insurance.


Once the agency informs the client about the recommendation to contract insurance for the trip, it is the client who can contract insurance with the agency, or contract it directly with whoever they want.
