REGULAR TOURS: Sublime Campania and Puglia

Arrival at Naples airport/station/port/hotel and transfer to the hotel selected by the tour and accommodation. In the afternoon meeting with the tour leader.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Pompeii and guided tour of the archaeological remains buried under lava during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD along with Herculaneum, Stabia and Oplonti. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel in Naples and overnight.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION Vomero:

The most avant-garde district of the city Vomero – A walk to discover the trendiest district of Naples, Vomero, which offers a variety of interesting and inclusive activities to keep you entertained. The first thing you will notice is the view. The geography of the area is quite rugged, the views of Naples, the Bay of Naples and the historic Mount Vesuvius in the distance are captured in full detail. Whether on a clear day or at sunset, the views of the historic and new buildings will leave anyone speechless.

Breakfast at the hotel. Arrival and visit of Amalfi, the splendid town that gives its name to the entire coast and famous for having been one of the ancient maritime republics. Visit of the famous Duomo, dedicated to St. Andrew and the result of the union of two neighbouring basilicas, and stroll through the streets of the centre among the souvenir shops. Continue towards Sorrento, praised by poets, celebrated in songs and the beautiful land of the Sirens, rich in churches, historic buildings, surprising viewpoints and characteristic alleys with small shops and artisan workshops. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel in Naples and overnight.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION Mergellina:

The most beautiful and romantic district of Naples Mergellina is a splendid district, one of the most beautiful areas to visit in Naples. It is a district full of magnificent cultural attractions, ideal for spending a wonderful day of relaxation. The presence of the sea forces you to take a stroll along the seafront to admire the beautiful coastal landscape. Mergellina is the face of Naples, the postcard image, the blue of the sea that everyone envies but that everyone carries with them stuck in their memories.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the port to set sail for Capri, the most famous island in the Campanian archipelago. Located opposite the Sorrento Peninsula in the Gulf of Naples, Capri is undoubtedly the most famous island of all, often used as a film set or in advertising campaigns. It has enchanted and seduced emperors, artists and celebrities for centuries and continues to do so by attracting thousands of tourists every year. Sunshine almost all year round, visiting the island of Capri offers access to places that will take your breath away: secret coves, lively alleys, cliffs and mountains with spectacular views. During the visit, stop for lunch in one of the island's typical restaurants. In the afternoon, return to the hotel in Naples and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Puglia. Before reaching Bari, stop to visit the Castle of Monte Andria, a place of secrets and magic, an ancient 13th century building built by Frederick II, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, as well as one of the greatest symbolic sites of Puglia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then transfer and accommodation at the hotel.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION Bari Vecchia:

Heart of the city of Bari Bari Vecchia is a place where time seems to stand still in its simplicity and authenticity. Walking through the narrow streets of this district, you can breathe the air of history, tradition and customs passed down from generation to generation. The style of the buildings in the old town reflects the interweaving of the different eras that have characterized the architecture and daily life of this place.

After breakfast, we set off for Polignano a Mare, a wonderful medieval town perched on a high, rugged coastline. We stroll through the narrow streets of the village, between white houses and terraces overlooking the sea, offering a unique and unforgettable panorama. We continue towards Monopoli, known as the city of a hundred districts. We stroll through its charming old town with its wonderful baroque cathedral and its seafront promenade. Return to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Alberobello with its monumental trulli village dating back to the mid-16th century and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique architecture and historical importance. In the afternoon we continue to Locorotondo, which attracts its visitors with the white colour that seems to envelop everything, with the colour of the flowers and plants that protrude from the balconies of the houses. Locorotondo, despite being so small, attracts attention with the harmony of each of its parts, with the intimacy and grace it expresses: a city of light, all white, which dominates the valley from which it rises. Finally, transfer to the hotel in Lecce.

* OPTIONAL EXCURSION: Lecce by night An evening stroll to discover Lece, the city of baroque, the city of squares, palaces and churches, a city steeped in history, with its remains from bygone eras, which surprises visitors with its monuments. The itinerary takes place in the old town, among its beautiful streets that allow you to admire the grandeur of the churches and buildings of Lecce's baroque style illuminated by the lights.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will spend the day discovering Lecce, known as the Baroque capital of southern Italy. A cultural and historical centre that hides ancient buildings of singular beauty, built over the centuries with the so-called “Lecce stone”. Squares, palaces, amphitheatres, sculptures carved in stone and inserted with great harmony in the urban context that, in the words of Thomas Ashe who visited it in the 18th century, is “the most beautiful city in Italy”. A visit to the Basilica of Santa Croce, with the adjacent Palace of the Celestines, the former Convent of the Celestine Fathers, where art in a magnificent triumph reaches the highest level of aesthetic expression, and the Duomo of Lecce located in the heart of its historic centre, within the square of the same name, is a must. Free time and opportunity for lovers of culture and art, who love to walk, to discover other beauties and typical places of Lecce.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION Discovering Otranto:

Porta d’Oriente, with dinner In the late afternoon, transfer to Otranto, the jewel of Salento, a place rich in art and culture but also with Caribbean beaches. The beauty of Otranto is undoubtedly linked to its old town and the importance of its artistic treasures, but one of the unrivalled attractions of the city is its incomparable sea and its splendid natural landscape. After dinner in one of the local restaurants, return to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Ostuni, also known as the White City for its characteristic historic centre. A walk through the old town offers picturesque views of alleys, steep stairs, courtyards and small squares dominated by white houses, artisan workshops, typical restaurants and small shops. After the visit, transfer to your hotel in Bari.

* OPTIONAL EXCURSION: Giovinazzo, ancient village on the sea In the late afternoon, visit Giovinazzo. This little gem that looks out directly over the crystal-clear sea, due to its position and peculiarity, has earned the reputation of being one of the most beautiful pearls of the Adriatic. Walk through its medieval historic centre, built on a peninsula of cliffs and surrounded by the blue sea that bathes both the right and left of the two seafront promenades. You cannot miss the stops to immortalize the most beautiful corners of this historic center with its narrow streets between walls and small old churches, flowery balconies and noble palaces. After the walk, free time for dinner in one of the local restaurants and return to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the oldest cities in the world, where history, culture and nature meet and merge to create a place rich in impressive scenery and corners. Visit the Sassi, an ancient settlement built into the rock. A tangle of caves used as dwellings, winding alleys, rock churches, terraces, gardens and underground passages make the Sassi a spectacular example of an architectural complex perfectly adapted to its natural environment. Continue to Naples and overnight at the hotel.
